I has a new Handycam! *dazzle-eyes*

Went in Best Buy the other day on the trail of getting a laptop computer on their fantabulous payment plan. After finding out stupid Best Buy charges nearly 30%(!) interest on their in-store credit card (which you MUST have to get payment plans on anything), I quickly ditched the idea of getting a laptop and went to hide in the digital camera section to have a good sulk. Whilst doing said sulking, I found myself made happy again by shiny Canon PowerShot digicams that were making my mouth water with all their digicam-ry goodness. I was asking the associates about what I might find that I could get some real good footage of my dance group with, without having to cart around so many electronics. Then a dude comes up and points me over to his neat new rack of Sony Handycams. I had officially touched down in La-la Land!

Long story short, I ended up walking out of there with the nicest new palm-sized Handycam that takes the most delicious video files, has pretty buttons all over it, has the most geek-lovey touch buttons on its LCD screen that make me squeal, AND it's one of the easiest things to set up straight outta the box. Just pop in the battery and go to. Loving it!

Oh yes, Pirate!Doctah is enjoying this new gadget to the Nth Degree!
